HOW CAN I BOOK THE HALL?

- The kitchen is very well equipped modern kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, hob, toaster and washing facilities.
- They are available to hire for a small charge. Please ask for details.
- We have chairs to seat approx. 60 people and plenty of tables.
- You may be able to erect a tent/marquee in the car park - please contact the secretary for details.
- If you intend to sell alcohol, whether it is included in an entrance ticket or a raffle ticket, you must obtain a Temporary Event Notice. They currently take about ten working days to be issued and cost £22. If you employ a Barman they may have their own Personal Licence in which case they apply for permission, not you. If you are giving alcohol away, free of charge, you do NOT need a licence.
- If you do not obtain a licence and you are inspected by the Police or North Herts District Council you may receive a fine. It is imperative that you apply for a licence to sell alcohol and have it with you on display during your event.
- If you need a licence or have any queries please phone the Secretary, on 01582 513156 or use the contact form HERE. We can supply you with the necessary form and instructions.
- For the comfort of everyone we wouldn't suggest you try and seat at table more than 60 people. If you just have a few small drinks tables (less than 6) and a dance floor you could probably accommodate about 70. Theatre style seating you could probably fit in 80.
- Any regular classes (yoga/dance/meetings) may carry on up to 10.30pm.
- Private parties may NOT carry on after 6pm any evening.
- Bookings may start at 9am.
- £20 per hour.
- There is a standard £150 security deposit for all parties/celebrations which is returned as long as the hall is left in good order as you found it.
- It is the hirers responsibility to clean the hall after each use.
